Battery Tender Supports Hurricane Relief Efforts in Florida and North Carolina

At Battery Tender®, we’ve called Deland, Fla. home since 1965.

As Hurricane Milton approaches Florida, communities across the state are bracing for its impact. Like many in the hurricane’s path, we may face power outages in the coming days, which could disrupt normal operations.

In the spirit of supporting our community during this time, Battery Tender has donated dozens of jump starters and power banks to assist with Hurricane Helene relief efforts in western North Carolina and will continue to do so for those in Florida affected by Hurricane Milton. These units will provide essential power to those affected, ensuring they can charge vital devices and jump-start vehicles when needed most.

"Our team’s safety remains our top priority as we prepare. We are proud to contribute to the recovery efforts with the tools we specialize in," said Battery Tender CEO Michael Prelec, Jr. "Battery Tender remains committed to helping those affected by Hurricane Helene and Milton, and we will continue to offer our support in any way we can."

We encourage everyone to take all necessary precautions and stay safe. Our offices are closed through the remainder of the week. Our team will continue to work while we can, and we appreciate your patience if our shipping times and support team's responses are slower than expected.
