There’s something special about being surrounded by history. Not just the history of each vehicle you admire at the Greenwich Concours d’Elegance and Concours de Sport, but the history of the events themselves.
The Greenwich Concours was founded nearly 30 years ago by two longtime Greenwich residents who shared a passion for world-class automobiles. Now one of the top five concours in the world, car enthusiasts swarm near Greenwich Harbor annually to praise vehicles that—in many cases—have existed longer than many of the Concours attendees.
The Concours d’Elegance is a three-day prestigious car event featuring vehicles that embody the pinnacle of automotive design and engineering. Its numerous events over the course of the weekend include not only car exhibitions, but auctions, driving tours, and social gatherings as well.
Battery Tender® had the pleasure of not only being invited to the Concours but also helping sponsor the 2024 celebration. We had the honor of presenting the “Fully Charged Award” to a one-of-a-kind 1972 Ferrari 365 GTB/4 during the Concours de Sport, a segment of the Greenwich Concours that focuses specifically on sports cars. Featuring both contemporary and vintage models, the Concours de Sport highlights the design, engineering, and historical significance of sports cars.
Battery Tender joined forces with Hagerty, the event's proud owner since 2019, and numerous other sponsors to present the Greenwich Concours. This collaborative effort not only celebrates the world of automobiles but also serves as a platform for supporting local charities, a testament to the event’s deep-rooted commitment to community and giving back.
