Engineering Position Open

Responsibilities:

• The Software Engineering position includes analysis, design, coding, testing, and documentation of real-time embedded software.
• Working with project manager, mechanical engineer, and system engineer in developing software with major emphasis on quality, reusability and commonality.
• Develop clear designs using sound software engineering techniques and tools to validate designs.
• Develop materials for design reviews, coordinate design review, track issues/problem status, and coordinate changes.

Requirements:

• BSCE/BSEE or equivalent industry experience.
• Minimum 1 year of direct experience in embedded systems development.
• C and assembly programming language proficiency.
• Experience and knowledge of embedded controls.
• Experience with 8-bit microcontrollers.
• Experience with Metrowerks CodeWarrior and Imagecraft Development Tools a plus.
• Proven written and oral communication skills.
• Experience writing detailed specifications.
